📋 About This Mod

Report Issues: https://github.com/Tekunogosu/TerasXUI/issues/new

This is my first mod for 7DTD and I hope you enjoy it! The goal for UI mod is mostly to keep things simple while getting a bit more out of the UI than what is offered by default. I'm still very new to the XML of 7DTD, so some things may be a little off at first, but expect frequent updates as I figure stuff out. If you find any bugs or have any suggestions, leave a comment here or on Github and I'll see what I can do.

This is 99% XML, but there is now a DLL that modifies the xml variable "statcurrentwithmax" to get the true food/water values. If you want to see a percentage, just remove TerasXUIXMLPatch.dll and it should just work.

Harmony Requirement!!: You will need Harmony to use this mod if you want true values for the food/water. Harmony is shipped by default with the 1. 0 release so you shouldn't have to do anything. If its not there, verify your game files in steam and it should place the Harmony mod into the Mods folder. I have not tested any other version of Harmony, but it should work with a downloaded version from the Harmony site if you need (needs confirmation)

Compatibility: I try to add compatibility with other mods, so if you find a conflict, let me know. (I only will link to mods on Nexus)

  • []Quickstack. The mod is amazing though and I def recommend it!

[]Khaines 15SlotToolbelt. The XP bar is extended so it looks good.

[]Khaines 12 Slot Crafting Queue (my mod also has a 10 slot but you can use his if you want)

    []Khaines 60 slot backpack

[]Dewtas BIGGER Better Friggin Backpack. Adjusted XP bar so its not hidden. (still needs some work overall but this is functional)

[]CTV Slots backpack mod. Adjusts icons in the backpack to handle the larger backpack.

[]Inventory Search Bar Search bar for the inventory! Honestly, why isn't this in the base game??

[]HotkeyFor15Toolbelt : This mod only works with khaines 15 slot toolbelt. I added the labels for the hotkeys directly to my mod, see note as to why: NOTE: Delete the Config/XUi/windows.xml file from HotkeyFor15Toolbelt as their XML does not load correctly and may just cause issues with my UI mod. Only the DLL and the config.txt.default is required from what I can see.

    What does TerasXUI offer?

    • []Enables the target window bar to show enemy health and name. (The look of this is still being worked on)

[]Food and Water bar with true values as you see them in the stat window. (Remove the TerasXUIXMLPatch.dll if you want to see a percentage instead)

[]Centers the in game menu (esc menu while in game). By default its shoved in the top left corner and I just hate that.

[]Makes the EXP bar a bit larger so its easier to see, with indicators at  25%, 50%, 75%

[]Adds a level indicator next to the EXP bar.

[]Removes the background and adjusts the size of the popup when entering new areas. The skull is also slightly duller as I felt the red was too harsh.

[]Added a elevation and temperature under the compass cluster. Day/Time have been moved as well to make everything more legible.

[]Color indicator for books you have already read, way easier to see now when looting.

[]Quest text from traders shows the POI name as well as the direction and distance.

[]Skills points show on all tabs of the skill window, even the perk and crafting skill tab.

[]Removed background from Compass and location window.

[]Updated crafting UI for better visibility and less scrolling.

[]10 slot crafting queue. Could make this larger if people really want but 10 is just fine for me.

[]Added border around locked inventory slots and removed the locked icon for better visibility.

      Does it work on servers?

      • []Yes! Just make sure you have the latest version. (all versions after 1. 0. 1 should work)

[]Also note, if you want to see the true food/water values EVERYONE on the server needs to have the mod installed as well, otherwise they will see the percentage. The mod will work regardless.

Does it work with mod XYZ?

[*]It should work fine but note that if you use another UI mod there may be conflicts a
