📋 About This Mod

TechFreqsInceasedBackpack Mod, Increases the player's backpack inventory from the vanilla 45 slots to 60 slots (configured as an 6x10 grid for a natural fit). This allows carrying more items (e.g., tools, food, loot) without glitches, while maintaining compatibility with the game's UI and mechanics.

Compatibility:

- EAC Supported!

- Latest version of 7d2d V2. 4

Another semi latest changelog:

V1. 3 (V2. 5)

- Updated 144 Slot Increased Backpack

- Fixed for proper localization instead of "Inventory" it says "TechFreqs BackPack (144 Slot)"

- Fixed for adding progression for pack mule perk hopefully scaling from 10,20,30,40,50,144 slots properly?

- Fixed for xml for scaling ui (sorta)

on a 1080p screen edit xui xml, depending on your screen size, and or windows xml for said grid layout or content

as this is set for that sort of thing and if its off then chances are scaling are still not setup for high resolution screens or lower resolutions

- flexible with bug reports and potential fixes that could help the backpack mod instead of yelling without proper bug reporting or logs, doesn't help my situation please do your best, support in that way to help me make improved version for other variations and or specific slots.

KNOWN SUGGESTIONS:

(any hotbar losses are beyond me as again, if your using this mod for an overhaul or anything else in that aspect hotbar item loss it to be expected, as it isn't compatible as this is strictly for VANILLA GAME PLAY ONLY... anyone who says otherwise, this LITERALLY only affects inventory size, no other container or loot boxes or containers. if you want that DOWNLOAD an increased vehicle storage mod)

Semi Latest Changelog:

V1. 2 V2. 5)

- Updated for V2. 5 b32 of 7D2D

- Updated XUI xml and window xml to handle inventory size and scaled for 100% vanilla ui scaling ...

Due to new ingame menu code or line changes from old to new version gave error

Added variation for 200 slots bakcpack nov 29 2025

Added even more variations now including 160, 180, 200, 220, 240, 300 slot backpack sizes and or 300 slot wide

Key Features:

Backend Expansion: Sets BagSize to 60 (actual holdable slots) and CarryCapacity to 60 (encumbrance limit, to avoid slowdown penalties when full).

UI Improvements: Expands the inventory window to display all 130 slots visibly (taller grid with 6 rows x 10 columns). Includes a custom title ("TECHFREQS BACKPACK (60)"), adjusted heights/positions for no overlaps or cutoffs, and global UI scaling (1. 10 scale, 0. 95 stackpanel) for better readability on larger grids.

Inheritance Handling: Changes apply to both male and female player characters (via inheritance in entityclasses.xml).

Balance: Keeps the vanilla width (9 columns) to avoid making the window too wide, but you can customize for wider layouts (e.g., 6x10)
