What does this mod do?

This mod adds the weapons, ammo, mods, injectables, first aid, and all of the other ingredient components to craft them from the popular Escape from Tarkov (EFT) Overhaul.  It also provides compatibility with Izy's AIO Weapons Pack.

This Mod is not meant to be combined with the EFT Overhaul!

This is a modular standalone mod derived from the Escape From Tarkov (EFT) Overhaul Mod Pack.

This mod does not/will not have everything from the main EFT Overhaul.

The EFT Team was kind enough to share these resources with us, but they want to keep their distinctives to keep their overhaul special.

This mod is not compatible with the original EFT Overhaul.

This mod contains the same EFT weapons pack and some of the supporting resources from their Overhaul.

If you combine the EFT Extraction Pack with another EFT Overhaul, you will get errors!

Who is this mod for?

This mod is designed for people who want to play with the EFT's guns, without the rest of the changes their Overhaul adds to the game.

This mod was also crafted to be easy to use alongside with other mods.

Example: FNS uses the EFT Extraction Pack along with 350+ other mods in his modular Wabbajack ModOrganizer2 ModList.

Does the EFT Extraction Pack have Requirement Mods?

There are no Hard Requirements for this mod to work.  The EFT Extraction Pack is a self-contained mod, it does not need any other mods to function.  If you go to the Description tab of this Mod Page, and press the Requirements tab, you can read that the mods listed there are recommended/optional/Soft-Requirements, but not actually required.  You can ignore all of the Requirement mods and the EFT Extraction Pack will still work as a standalone mod.  We list those optional mods, because most people enjoy using the EFT Extraction Pack with those mods.

Difficulty Recommendation

Since the weapons from EFT and Izy are stronger than vanilla guns, you are highly encouraged to play with more challenging settings.  Increase Zombie speed, and possibly overall difficulty because the bullets will eat through their hit points.

How do I change firing type? From Full-Auto to Single-Fire or Burst?  Z-key

How do I switch to under-barrel launchers?  X-key

How do I switch ammo types from vanilla to EFT ammo on EFT guns?  Hold the R-key, use the wheel to select the ammo choice.

Learn-by-reading (LbR) System update: EFTX-Core-Standard

There are new EFTX magazine series.

The version of EFTX-Core you choose will determine how many magazines you will need to craft EFTX-Weapons.

What this means for you as a player:

1. You will now rarely find EFT guns, only after Game Stage 15, and you will only pull tier 1 quality EFTX-guns.

The emphasis of this mod has moved to crafting to get superior versions.

2. You can find tier 1 EFTX guns in these loot containers: toilets, military trucks, police cars, and gun safes.

3. You need to read between 10 and 25 related magazines to unlock the ability to craft it.

Then you need to continue reading more magazines for additional crafting tier levels.

4. Vanilla Cop, Soldier, Mutants, Businessman, Biker, and Nurse zombie corpses are now lootable.

This will likely be your best source of EFTX magazines.

They also have a small chance of dropping tier 1 EFTX guns.

I cannot stress this enough: Looting Cop, Soldier, and Mutant corpses is priority #1!!!

LittleRedSonja's Fancy Zombie Variants: the applicable vanilla reskinned zombies are lootable with EFTX.

5. Ammo Piles are another great place to find EFTX Skill Magazines.
