CPPS - Custom Perks Prestige Skills

CPPS - Custom Perks Prestige Skills transforms the late-game experience of 7 Days to Die by introducing 67 new perks spread across a dedicated Prestige tab, offering up to five ranks per skill. Designed as a meaningful sink for surplus skill points, this mod adds a fresh layer of progression without overwhelming the base game’s balance. Each perk is carefully tuned for higher difficulty settings, ensuring that veterans find new challenges while still feeling rewarded for their investment.

The perks themselves cover a wide range of effects, from weapon-focused enhancements to utility and survival boosts. Rather than relying on diminishing returns, the mod now uses variable point costs that scale with the perk’s rank and impact, giving you more strategic control over your build. Recent updates have also rebalanced several weapon perks and introduced new options, all while keeping the maximum rank at five to maintain compatibility with popular UI overhaul mods. A detailed changelog is included, and a table in the mod folder shows each skill’s effects at max rank.

Localization is available in German, English, and Japanese, with community translations welcome. If you’re updating from an older version, use the Forgetting Elixir before applying the update to reclaim your spent points—otherwise, some or all of your invested points may be lost. Both server and client installations are required for multiplayer servers to function correctly.
