Description Not only did the survivors figure out that zombies do not care about water, but they were all Olympic swimmers which is why all their plans of escaping to some undisclosed lake location never worked successfully. So, in a show of true brilliance, the survivors decided the zombies could not get them if they had no lake to swim in, which is why they high-tailed it to a dried up lake with houses still intact. Unfortunately, the survivors learned too late that not only are zombies great swimmers, they were also non-aquatic and had a much easier time traversing land. Such leaps in logic lead one to wonder who is really the brainless zombies are among these two groups... Survivors must barricade and survive for 10 minutes to win the map. Zombie have to kill everyone before the time limit is reached. While the last version of the map to be released was zpo_lakebed_a7, the most popular iteration of the map was zpo_lakebed_a5, which the sfr version of the map is based upon. Following standard lake-style maps, it has 4 houses for survivors to hide and barricade within all of which are a modified or completely changed version of the original 4 houses found in Lake of the Dead. Unlike other lake maps, this map has absolutely no water and was one of the few to have an actual skybox for the area outside of the map's boundaries. Zombies all spawn underneath the houses and much find their way inside them breaking barricades along the way. Also, as with all other Lake maps, please note that the map is not entirely based on stock gameplay, but a barricade-style focus where survivors barricade and hold out while zombies attempt to break into the houses and ruin the survivors lives.
