📋 About This Mod

Enhanced Weapon Tooltip aims to primarily display a few more stats into the tooltip of the weapons + weapon mods, as well as change a few other things. Adds Fire Mode, Range, Reload Speed into the weapons tooltip, as well as converts

Brief Overview

Adds Fire Mode, Range, Reload Speed into the weapons tooltip, as well as converts Durability into Condition, and Fragility into Durability.

Recoil is changed to Stability, and all of the relevant items and screens are altered such that the changes are consistent.

There are 3 versions to choose from:

- Enhanced Weapon Tooltip - Complete --> this has all of the changes described here

- EWT - No Reload Meter --> The Reload Speed is not included, and the Reload Speed stat remains vanilla, not reversed.

- EWT - Vanilla Durability --> The Durability and Fragility stats remain unchanged, just like vanilla, for those that are quite used to it and/or dont like the renaming.

Requirements:

GMLoader

UiPatchLib

Tested and Working with Zero Sievert v1. 2. 37.

Detailed Overview

The primary goal and purpose of EWT is to add the following stats into the weapons tooltip:

  • []Fire Mode - Displayed next to the Fire Rate, in parenthesis. Example: Fire Rate 600 rpm (Automatic). There are 2 added visually displayed modes: Automatic and Semi-Auto. Bolt Action remains as it is, since the game already displayed that next to Fire Rate. So for Bolt Action weapons, this remains unchanged.

[]Range - Displayed next to the Type, in parenthesis. Example: Type Sniper (range 140-500). The range is derived from the type of the weapon, and is the same for all weapons of the same type, so for example all shotguns have the same range.

[]Reload Speed - Displayed as a meter, right under Ergonomics. Reload Speed is derived from the actual raw numbers for each gun, and is updated when a weapon mod such as a magazine affects reload speed.

Please note: Where previously the game displayed for example +20 Reload Speed (in red), now it will display -20 Reload Speed (also in red). The game by default counts the positive numbers as longer reload time, so the higher the Reload Speed stat, the more it will take to reload the weapon (slower Reload)This mod reverses this, such that Higher = Better. So After this mod is installed, Higher Reload Speed means Faster Reload.Example: Magazine displays +20 Reload Speed so this means that now the weapon reloads faster, after installing this mod.

The secondary goals/functions of this mod, is to change how certain stats are displayed, and even though secondary, please read as this is important so as to avoid confusion while in-game:

  • []Durability --> Condition change - The Durability stat is renamed to Condition, which is fairly simple and straightforward, but may confuse players that are fairly used to seeing "Durability". This changes applies to both weapons and armor across the board.

[]Fragility --> Durability change - Fragility is renamed to Durability, which may easily confuse people that have been playing this game for a while. The stat is also effectively reversed, such that the Higher the Durability, the less fragile the armor is. Where previously Fragility was a bad stat, now it is a positive, showing how Durable the armor is, i.e. how many hits it can sustain and how much it will last until it needs repairs.

[]Recoil --> Stability change - Recoil is renamed to Stability, and the numbers again just like Reload Speed, become Higher = Better. Whereas previously Recoil was a bad stat, meaning the more Recoil the worse the weapon performs, now this stat and its function is reversed, such that higher numbers mean better Stability, as in less Recoil. This reversal, in combination with the Reload Speed and Fragility changes, means that all of the meters displayed for weapons and armor show better performance when they are higher. Higher numbers and more filled meters = better stats, happier player :)

[]Ammo and Repair kits reflect these changes as well, so you  can expect to see Min Cond. in weapon and armor repair kits, and Recoil being transformed into Stability for Ammo, just like for weapons and weapon mods.

[]The tooltip size has been c
