Installation

Can only be installed by using Shin Ryu Mod Manager, Ryu Mod Manager is not supported!

Simply drop the files in the mods folder and enable the mod by running ShinRyuModManager.exe.

Highly recommend that you use the steam version or atleast version 1. 4 (latest steam version) otherwise expect issues to occur.

If you use keyboard and mouse to play Yakuza Kiwami 2, then make sure that you set "Default key icons" to 1 inside Beta Judgment Options.ini, otherwise controller icons will appear regardless if keyboard or controller is used.

What this mod is

This mod aims to restore the Judgment files that are leftover within Yakuza Kiwami 2 while making sure its in a playable state.

What this mod isn't

This mod does not aim to restore the game Judgment, meaning you may see some

boss moves not having effects or not make sounds, this is normal as the

mod will only use Judgment files when its absolutely necessary.

All of the added boss fights, minigames and missions can be launched by opening the bouncer minigame menu.

Player Controls

The Yagami moveset itself isn't too different from the Judgment game.

Style and Atrribute Styles

the arrows in the ui correctly display how to switch to the style you want to use.

DpadLeft = Speed Style

DpadRight = Power Style

DpadUp = Attack Attribute

DpadDown = Defense Attribute

Speed Style

Speed style enables quickstep and quickstep cancel, meaning combos similar to y0/k1 where the player switches to rush style to cancel an animation are possible.

Power Style

Nothing notable.

Attack Attribute

Makes the player attack slower however it might have other effects like more powerful attacks.

Defense Attribute

Regenerates HP while its active.

Drone Minigame

Heavily recommend that you use a controller otherwise you wont be able to go up and down.

Chase and Stalk Minigame

Triangle/F would be the "misc" key, act busy for Stalk, speed boost for Chase.

Known Bugs

Buying From any market causes the game to be softlocked, though you can still exit the menu just fine if you didnt press purchase.

Clicking Drone on the smartphone pause menu will instantly crash the game.

Nothing else known so far but if you run into any bugs make sure you report it in the bug section.
