House of Extras Restoration

House of Extras Restoration for the PC version of Yakuza 4 Remastered.

Restores Bob Utsunomiya's House of Extras to how it played on PS3:

- All seven modes selectable in Bob's menu and replayable after completion.

- The NETWORK RANKING result panel (latest / best) after Battle King, Fastest Killer, Speed King and Endless Survival Tag, with the PS3 count-up, pulse, NEW RECORD banner and sounds.

- Battle King and Fastest Killer no longer end on a black screen; Endless Survival Tag no longer hands off to a deleted mission.

- The kill counter and Endless Survival counter.

- The Ameba coliseum floor in Battle King / Fastest Killer.

- Speed King's title card and countdown on every run.

- Bob's post-mode lines.

- Chase stamina drain at the PS3 rate, and the survival-tag Controls panel sized correctly.

- A workaround for the stock game's Steam achievement crash at launch.

Requirements

- Yakuza 4 Remastered on Steam (2024-07-21 build).

- Shin Ryu Mod Manager with Parless. The plugin is loaded from inside the mod folder; nothing goes in the game root.

- A Premium Adventure save.

Install

1. Run Shin Ryu Mod Manager once so the game folder has `YakuzaParless.asi` and a `mods` folder.

2. Copy the `House of Extras Restoration` folder from the zip into `mods`.

3. Tick the mod in Shin Ryu Mod Manager and rebuild the MLO.

4. Launch. `HouseOfExtras.ini`, `.log` and `.records` are created inside the mod folder.
