📋 About This Mod
Gives your soldiers nicknames as soon as they hit Specialist rank, instead of waiting for Corporal. Also allows manual nicknames at Specialist.
Nicknames At Specialist is a simple mod that changes the required rank to receive a nickname from Corporal to Specialist. This affects both automatically-assigned nicknames, as well as the UI for giving them a nickname manually.
Despite being called "Nicknames At Specialist", the rank is actually customizable; open up the mod's txt file and you can change it to whichever rank you like. If you set it to 0 (squaddie), soldiers will not automatically get nicknames anymore.
REQUIREMENTS
This mod is only tested with Long War 1. 0; it has not been tested with LW 1. 1, LWR, or the base Enemy Unknown or Enemy Within.
INSTALLATION
Install using PatcherGUI (included in UPKUtils) or Long War Mod Manager.
