Maximum Carnage

I recommend that you install this mod using Long War Mod Manager (http://www.nexusmods.com/xcom/mods/620/?). Alternatively you can use PatcherGUI 7. 1 or better if you wish. Tested with Long War beta 15d2/e/f, but it should work with any version, including vanilla XCom Enemy Within.

This mod doubles the force applied to the alien bodies during their death animations. Blast them from short range and watch those suckers fly! For even more crazy fun you can increase the force multipliers by modifying the patch file settings. Don't set the values too high though or you may experience some strange glitches.

This mod doesn't effect damage output at all - the effect is purely cosmetic. One beneficial side effect of this mod is that you'll be able to blast Thin Men far enough away from your soldier for their acid burst not to be a potential problem any more.

You can change the force factors by changing these lines in the patch file: ALIAS=IMPULSEFACTOR:<%f 2> ALIAS=FORCEFACTOR:<%f 2>

The values are floating point, so to change to 2. 5X you'd do this: ALIAS=IMPULSEFACTOR:<%f 2. 5> ALIAS=FORCEFACTOR:<%f 2. 5>
