Marathon panic levels

Description This mod changes the game by simply making it so panic levels do not increase across entire continents, only in the countries targetted by aliens. This makes panic levels more manageable, allowing a much longer game (and making marathon mode actually playable). Note that this mod does make the game easier (much easier) if you don\'t play in marathon mode. It is aimed at people who don\'t wish any other modifications to their gameplay experience. History I was one of the first people to complete Xcom: Enemy Unknown after its official release. Though I really liked the game, one thing irked me, which is that the game seems to force you to hurry up and get to the end. I stopped playing for a while, then came back and remembered what bothered me. I came to Nexus mods for a mod that would simply reduce panic level increases to find out that all mods which did this also did a bunch of other things I wanted nothing to do with. So, after looking up how to mod this game, I made this very simple mod. Installation WARNING: INSTALLING THIS MOD WILL OVERWRITE OTHER MODS YOU HAVE INSTALLED. DO NOT INSTALL IT IF YOU WANT TO USE OTHER MODS. Step 1: Download and install modpatcher. Download links and installation instructions are in this thread: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/804882-modpatcher/ Step 2: Download the mod. Step 3: Extract the DefaultGameCore.ini file into your Xcom-Enemy-Unknown\\XComGame\\Config folder. Step 4: When a window pops up asking you whether you want to rename or replace the file, click replace.
