📋 About This Mod
Safe Cheat Panel
A UI-based cheat panel accessible from the left sidebar in the map menu. Provides tools to edit player stats, inventory, research, blueprints, faction relations and galaxy exploration state, to spawn and edit ships and stations, and to spawn or destroy objects - all through a clean, tab-based interface.
Warning: Spawning unusual objects (such as multiple Player HQs) can corrupt saves. Use responsibly.
Important Notice
Idea Author made decision to leave the community and removed the original Cheat UI mod. Taking in account his decision to remove all his stuff from the Nexus Mods, I decided to do all my best to replace his part in the latest version of Cheat UI maintained by me and create a new mod called Safe Cheat Panel.
The new mod currently not contains the "development mode" features as I focused on the "safe" features first, but I plan to add them in the future.
Take in account: id of the mod and folder is changed to `safe_cheat_panel`.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Solid download-to-endorsement ratio (8,358 downloads, 155 endorsements) shows it's being used and appreciated.
- Covers a wide range of cheat functions in one panel—stats, inventory, research, factions, exploration, spawning—so you don't need multiple mods.
- UI-based approach means no console commands or external tools needed; everything is accessible in-game from the map menu.
⚠️ Cons
- Last updated in August 2026, so it might not be compatible with the latest game patches if the game has updated since then.
- Cheat mods can break save integrity or cause unexpected issues if used carelessly, especially with faction relations and exploration state.
- Potential conflicts with other mods that modify the map menu or UI elements, since it hooks into the sidebar.
For players who want a convenient, all-in-one cheat panel without messing with console commands. If you're a completionist or just want to skip grind, this is for you. Skip if you prefer vanilla gameplay or are worried about save corruption.
💡 Beginner Tips
- Make sure to back up your save before using cheat functions, especially faction and exploration edits, to avoid irreversible changes.
- Use the spawning feature sparingly—spawning too many items can clutter your inventory or cause performance issues.
- If you're playing with mods that alter the map UI, test Safe Cheat Panel early to ensure no conflicts.
