Renown and Requisition (RPG-Lite Fleet Progression)

Renown and Requisition (R&R) introduces an RPG-lite reward system built to complement overall fleet progression.  It replaces the various ship modification components with a single combat-driven resource called Renown, which can be spent like a currency to requisition elite ship upgrades – allowing you to create genuine flagships and specialized "champion" units/squadrons worthy of a custom name.  Destroying an enemy vessel with any player-owned ship will award Renown directly to your inventory based on the target's calculated threat level and designation (whether military or civilian).

Requisitions are organized into four powerful tiers that each improve all applicable parameters of the corresponding module (weapon, shield, engine, hull) by a certain percentage:

• []Heroic Requisition: Provides a potent +20% stat boost (also adding +4 to missile, drone, countermeasure, and deployable capacities).[/]

  []Legendary Requisition: Provides a substantial +40% stat boost (also adding +8 to missile, drone, countermeasure, and deployable capacities).[/]

  []Mythic Requisition: Provides a massive +60% stat boost (also adding +12 to missile, drone, countermeasure, and deployable capacities).[/]

  []Ascendant Requisition: Provides a colossal +100% stat boost (also adding +20 to missile, drone, countermeasure, and deployable capacities).[/]

How It Works

• []Destroy enemy ships and collect Renown: Engagements yield randomized Renown quantities (within fixed limits) scaled to the threat level of the destroyed vessel.  Military ships yield substantially higher amounts than civilian traders, miners, and builders.  Rewards land directly into your player inventory upon target elimination.[/]

  []Requisition the upgrades: Spend your accumulated Renown at a workbench (which can be found at Ship Dealerships on stations with wharves or shipyards) to requisition appropriate enhancements for your chosen champions/admirals.[/]
