Pirate Witherborn and Witherborn Vanguard - S Class Fighters

!! IMPORTANT FOR 9. 00 UPDATE !!!

If you continue an existing game, you should update the mod right before you load your savegame into 9. 00, otherwise the weapons of the ship will be misplaced. If you continue a Beta-Game or missed that, you need to edit the savegame you want to load and change the version in line 5 to "800". With this, you trigger a mechanism in the game to relocate components which normally cant be relocated.

The Witherborn is an S class fighter for the Vigor Syndicate

The ship is an alternative variant/design, similar to the Lux in its stats.

It can be bought at the Vigor wharf. The player can also buy the blueprints for the ship and build it on own wharfs.

The Witherborn is comparable to the Lux regarding its stats.

The main difference is the design and that the Witherborn is a bit faster but has a bit lower acceleration.

The Witherborn Vanguard in return has one additional shield, can use an S-class turret but is a bit slower.

Important Update 2. 0 Information:

Because of major changes in X4 6. 0, new collision meshes had to be created. They will be used for every ship - also already existing ones.

They also changed some stuff regarding the components like engines, shields, turrets,...

Existing ships should still work but i expect you will be unable to change equipment on them. New ships will not be affected by this.

Important Update 3. 0 Information:

In Update 3. 0, i added a variant of the Witherborn to the mod: The Vanguard-variant.

This variant has 2 shields, 1 S-Cluss turret but is a bit slower.

Equipment:

2 S-Engines

1 S-Shields (2 for Vanguard)

2 S-Weapon Hardpoints

(1 S-Turret Hardpoint for Vanguard)

Languages:

other languages will be added if someone is so kind and translates :-)

AI-Usage and Balancing:

The shipgroups of the Vigor Syndicate have been extended to also use the Witherborn.

You will see the ship here and there, from time to time.

If you continue an existing game, it will take some time as the ship comes slowly into service.

On a new game, you will see it more commonly.

The ship is build and balanced around the Vanilla game. Mods like VRO were not in scope so far.

Installing:

You just extract the archive into your extensions folder.
