No Bailing Penalty

Removes the hidden penalty applied to the bail chance of your target when your ship has higher maximum hull.

Vanilla multiplies the bail chance by:

(their maximum hull) / (your maximum hull)

It therefore unintuitively and without warning punishes the player for using a tankier ship.

The number caps at 1. 0, so it can only be a penalty.

The images reflect the vanilla bail penalty for the specific ship listed in the heading.

For example, the first image shows the vanilla bail penalty against the listed targets while flying the Xperimental Shuttle.

This mod reduces it to 0% for all ships.

This does make the game "easier".

However, it mostly saves time, as tickling the ship for twice as long doesn't require more skill.

I created this mod to give players the choice of removing the penalty for more freedom in ship usage, as the current meta is solely using a ship like the Asp Raider to maximize the chance.

This mod is compatible with Bail 30s -> 10s and any other bailing mod which uses the vanilla code without overwriting the entire file.

It only overrides the formula used when a bail check triggers, so it should be safe to add or remove at any time.
