Short description:
STARS modifies all the backgrounds in the game. The stars are made more realistic and immersive. The skybox has been made less intrusive by regulating the intensity of light. All works ar best with Reshade or high contrast in the monitor.
Nabulae have been redone entirely. The game looks much more as the predecessors X2 and X3 now, of course in a high resolution.
All of the gas giants have been graphically improved into an higher resolution and sometimes different look. No more pixelation party there...
All other planets have been slightly or entirely changed in many details. I've made tens of new models but they are available only to those who use XRSGE too.
It is mandatory that it is loaded AFTER all the dlc and other mods. Should you do it, nothing will happen except that the modifications won't show. Same for other mods that introduce custom backdrops. Just be sure my mod loads AFTER and the graphics will be applied
PLEASE USE MY RESHADE SETTINGS TO MAKE STARS MOD REALLY SHINE. THE GAME'S GAMMA BY DEFAULT HAS NOT ENOUGH CONTRAST, STARS MOD IS CREATED HAVING AS REFERENCE A MORE VIBRANT CONTRAST OF THE SCENE

Second layer: STARS OVERHAUL
Works only with game's version 8. 00 or before
This is a very easy addition (and alternative to XRSGE) for players who want to enjoy the beauty of The Expanse in VANILLA UNIVERSE
This mod does not alter any single game's mechanic, it just replaces ALL BACKGROUNDS at model level. Not only textures. Backgrounds are the same as in XRSGE but the game is 100% VANILLA
Backgrounds in STARS Overhaul are the same of XRSGE but of course you will explore just a tiny part of it (vanilla sectors).
Compatibilty and Usage:
Since the mod does not modify any game mechanics it can be used with almost all other mods and does not need patches.
