Ekmod

Updated for 9. 0, some slight changes.

The mod offers easy access to the Erlking without the grind of hunting for the various parts. The Vigor Syndicate & Riptide Rakers now sell all parts & blueprints including the base ship for money & can even build a full version of the ship (35/36 mill) if they have the resources. This mod dose not replace the original Erlking, rather it makes a "copy" of the ship that is not limited by the original restrictions, so you can have as many as you like or mix and match parts as you see fit. As a final note, all parts are considered to be general use & don't require reputation grinding to purchase.

I have taken the liberty to make a few changes to suit my personal modded game, but nothing crazy & the files are easily changed.

1. Added a medium shield (Erlking Medium Shield) to the ship, only usable on the Ek. It has double the Terran Mk3 medium shield stats to help with the poor shield coverage on the ship. A single shield for every 3/5  M turrets is terrible.

2. Made the Ek XL shield roughly double the stats of the Terran Mk2 XL (392,000), the Ek has very little shield for a so called "Battleship", this change still puts it miles behind the Asgard & a decent amount behind the Colossus in overall protection.

3. Changed the main weapon from a charged fired weapon to a normal continuous fire weapon. It's roughly as powerful as the Rattlesnakes 4 capital weapons.

If you would like to update or modify this mod feel free, I'm only publishing this one because no one else bothered to make something similar (that i know of) & a lot of people hated the Easter egg hunt aspect of the Erlking.
