Argon Basilisk (E) - L heavy destroyer

The Basilisk is a large L class destroyer for the faction of the Argon Federation.

It has been designed as a heavy destroyer, being more capable then the Behemoth.

It can be bought at Argon and Antigone shipyards. The player can also buy the blueprints for the ship and build it on own shipyards.

The ship is relativley fast, well armed and has good shielding - for its class.

It a new maingun: The Basilisk main battery. It deals more hull- then shielddamage and is a good choice when attacking (Xenon ;-) ) stations and fortifications.

Equpiment:

4 L-Engines

4 L-Shields

6 L-Turrets

18 M-Turrets

2 S-Landing Pads (with 4 internal storage slots)

AI-Usage and Balancing

The ship was added to the existing jobs for Argon destroyers. This means the ship can appear instead of a Behemoth.

When you continue your game, it may takes some time to get them into service cause they only will be build as a replacment for some Behemoth.

When you start a new game, some of them will spawn directly and do their things.

The ship was also balanced around Vanilla-gameplay without other mods in scope.

Prerequisites:

X4: Foundations (base game is all you need, but DLCs are recommended by my side)

The ship was developed with Version 6. 00, i don´t know if it works with previous versions.

Installing:

You just extract the archive into your extensions folder.

It should then look like that: ..\X4 Foundations\extensions\lc4hunter_argon_basilisk
