⛔ CRITICAL HARD REQUIREMENTS

• []All Major Story DLCs Required: The interconnected jump-gate network relies on assets from all official Egosoft expansions.[/]

  []New Game Start Mandatory: You cannot load a vanilla save. XRSGE rewrites sector coordinates and galaxy layout from scratch.[/]

  []The Core Synergy - STARS MOD: MANDATORY. The mod will not render backgrounds or space environments correctly without it.[/]

  []Engine Requirements: You MUST use either the REM Overhaul mod or the new lightweight standalone alternative REM Supercruise to enable the necessary high-speed navigation mechanics.[/]

  []Not Strictly Requirement but made for XRSGE: the new mod XRSGE Rogue Life that injects survival mechanisms such as travel disrupt and shield damage in clouds, dynamically (no storage in the save file).[/]

  ⏳ THE "NEW GAME" LOADING TIME NOTICE

  When starting a new game, it will take several minutes to load. This is completely normal! XRSGE generates massive, dynamic resource fields spanning up to 2000–5000 km across sectors that are 1000X larger than vanilla. Please be patient on the first boot. Subsequent saves and loads will be fast.

  📡 NAVIGATION: DON'T FLY BLIND!

  • []Use the Long Range Scanner (LRS): Your ship's scanners have been heavily buffed. Triggering a Long Range Scan reaches a massive 3200km for resources but much more for big objects. It will instantly ping and reveal Gates, accelerators, handcrafted stations, foe ships, and hidden lockboxes.[/]

    []Automated Navigation Beacons: After a scan, a beacon is automatically placed next to discovered superhighways. You can target the beacon directly from your map to engage your autopilot or Supercruise instantly.[/]

    []5x Auto-Loot Magnet: Activating the scanner near battle fields automatically vacuums and pulls dropped cargo containers from a distance 5 times larger than the vanilla magnet.[/]

    🕹️ HOW TO USE SUPERCRUISE & COMPANION PILOTS

    • []Manual Activation: Enter Travel Mode -> Press F4 for Flight Computer -> Click to activate Supercruise/FSD -> Press F1 immediately to return to Cockpit View.[/]

      []Direct AI Orders: Use the built-in XRSGE custom command suite to directly order your hired captains and industrial fleets to engage Supercruise swiftly.[/]

      []Asteroid Regions: Travel Drive/Supercruise will NOT drop out in dense fields unless you physically collide with a rock. Fly manually or hire a high-skill captain to handle safety protocols.[/]

      📐 ECONOMY & THE 1KM STATION PLOT TRICK

      []Handcrafted Universe: XRSGE does NOT reduce AI ships or alter the jobs.xml file. The economy is enriched with numerous unique, handcrafted stations and factories with a 10-15% production boost.[/]

      []The 1km Placement Bypass: The X4 engine struggles with giant sector scales. When building a new station, always set the initial plot size to 1km x 1km x 1km first. Place the tiny plot down (it will turn green), lock it, and then safely open the menu again to expand the plot to your desired dimensions.[/]
