weapon_mod_template_walk

Mod Template for adding a weapon - intended to help you make your own weapon mod as a new modder.

Contains 2 new weapons, with detailed comments for every file, and readme file to help familiarize you with the file structure and basics of creating your own weapon, using a template that works off the bat and is simplified as much as possible. Every file contains detailed comments on what each variable does, as well as recommendations, and can be easily edited to turn it into your own mod(please credit me if you use the custom weapon model).

These aren't intended to be used as is, instead, they are templates for you to easily decipher and help you figure out the basic filestructure in order to enable you to more easily add your own weapons, especially if you are new to modding in general.

It's not quite a guide, but rather showcases through a working example. Please start with the readme, as it outlines the whole process, including how to make a custom weapon model, using an existing model as a baseline/start off point.
