📋 About This Mod
Replaces the unpleasant warning sound played when opening the Ship Upgrade/Repair screen at Shipyards..., with a soft sound.This fixes a misplaced sound by Egosoft.
Still needed in v8. 00!
Egosoft linked the opening of the Ship Upgrade/Repair screen at Shipyards, Wharfs and Equipment Docks to the sound file 'ui_notification_pickup_fail.wav'.
This is a harsh warning sound which is not suited for the opening of a ship equipment window.
The original sound is in the Miscellaneous Files section (for info).
Installation
Copy the directory 'ship_upgrade_warning_to_soft_sound_change' in X4\extensions (where the DLCs are placed, not in ...\Documents\Egosoft\X4\extensions (I've read)).
Uninstallation
Delete the directory 'ship_upgrade_warning_to_soft_sound_change'.
Save friendly. Can be installed and uninstalled with no consequence.
Should work with all the game languages.
Compatible with Linux.
