SGM Replace Commander

What the mod does

Adds the option "Replace Commander" to the right-click interact menu that allows a selected ship without own subordinates to replace the right-clicked group commander. Subordinate assignments of the old commander are transferred to the new commander. If the relieved commander has an assignment, it carries over to the new commander, so that the fleet hierarchy stays intact.

The option "Replace Commander" only shows if the selected ship (new commander) does not already have subordinates.

Savegame and Mod Compatibility

Can be removed or added to a savegame at any time.

Should be compatible with any and all other mods.

Dependencies

This mod depends on the Mod Support APIs Community Edition, Steam ID ws_3514258146. This is the updated version of Mod Support APIs, Steam ID ws_2042901274.

If you currently download the new Support APIs from Nexus it PRETENDS to be the OLD APIs by mimicking the OLD Steam ID. This is why you receive an error for this mod, which already links against the NEW Steam ID.

To fix this you can either

• []Change the dependency in the content.xml of this mod to require the Support APIs with the old steam id (ws_2042901274).

  []Change the content.xml of sn_mod_support_apis (new Support APIs) to the new steam id (ws_3514258146)

• Download the Mod Support APIs Community Edition via Steam, which automatically has the correct id. But note that you MUST NOT have both support APIs active at the same time!
