Erlking Main Cannon Buff

Description

The Erlking is meant to be a player battleship, but its damage output (the pilot output in particular) has always been sorely disappointing. The goal of this mod is to buff the Erlking's main weapon so that it is not objectively inferior to the Asgard's superlaser.

This mod edits the Erlking main battery stats. The gun punches significantly harder, has faster projectile velocity, and higher range. It does come at the cost of fire rate. Overall, when compared to the Asgard's superlaser, it has considerably less burst damage but significantly higher sustained damage output. 

As of update 4, the component health of the main gun has been substantially increased as well.

I always felt it weird that a gun made to channel the near-infinite energy of an overtech alien power plant was so incredibly weak.

There is also an additional optional file that buffs the Erlking's turrets.

Installation instructions

Download via Vortex, or download the file from Nexus and manually upload that file through the Vortex mod manager
