Boron Regal Barracuda - Heavy Fighter

The Regal Barracuda is an S class heavy fighter for the Borons.

It is a "Regal" variant of the standard Barracuda

It can be bought at Boron wharfs. The player can also buy the blueprints for the ship and build it on own wharfs.

The Regal Barracuda is considered a heavy fighter as it has 4 shields, 2 weapon hardpoints and 2 S-class turrets.

It is a bit faster then then the standard Barracuda but less agile.

Equipment:

1 Boron S-Engine

4 Boron S-Shields

2 Boron S-Weapon Hardpoints

2 Boron S-Turret Hardpoints

AI-Usage and Balancing:

Some of the Boron shipgroups, which include a collection of useable ships, have been extended by the new fighter with a weighted value.

You will see the ship here and there, from time to time.

If you continue an existing game, it will take some time as the ship comes slowly into service. On a new game, you will see it more commonly.

Installing:

You just extract the archive into your extensions folder.

It should then look like that: ..\X4 Foundations\extensions\lc4hunter_boron_regal_barracuda
