Description

Boarding in X4: Foundations can be incredibly frustrating.

This mod was born out of pure vexation after launching an operation against a pirate L-ship. Despite outnumbering the defenders with 25 of my hand-picked Level 5 veteran marines against just 17 pirates (a power balance of 2500 vs. 436), the vanilla RNG engine still managed to kill off two of my 5-star marines right at the end. I care about my hand-picked crew, and losing veterans to bad dice rolls is unacceptable.

To solve this, I teamed up with Gemini to dissect the game's files and rebuild the boarding mechanics from the ground up. After intense testing—including successfully capturing an Asgard with level 0 rookies (which took 2 hours, but worked flawlessly)—everything runs perfectly stable.

  []40x Speed Boost & Extreme Acceleration: Reduced forward drag (0. 05) and mass (1) mean pods impact the target almost instantly.[/]

Installation instructions
