Peculiar Cove

In this ancient and mysterious world, all the sentient species live in harmony, after centuries of warfare and civil unrest, tyrannous rule, cruelty, and sickness. Now is the time for the advancement of scientific understandings and arts. The dwarves are currently leading this effort, advancing their understandings of the world and the ancient past. With these massive revelations in their knowledge, the dwarves have, within the last 18,000 years, constructed their very own artificial islands, where the dwarvian city now lies, the dwarves now tend to isolate themselves from the other races, only trading now and then. According to archaeological finds, it seems that an ancient race of some kind used to inhabit this world, they constructed mighty facilities, complexes, symbols, and patterns, including the great wall, stemming form the western border of the world, to the eastern border. What happened to these being remains a mystery, with all their remaining evidence of their existence slowly degrading. Over time, many of their creations have been destroyed, or simply weathered away. Only one facility remains in superb condition, within it, creatures deemed "unnatural", on the far left side of the world All that can be known for sure is that the future is now, and it is your choice whether to help said nations, destroy them, or just do as you please, after all, being a deity is fun!
