WIEDZMIN FACE - Remaster

a project that lasted for more than a month that was important to me and who was the origin of how i started modding.

wiedzmin face is in my opinion (and from what i saw from the community opinion) one of the most book friendly retexture for geralt, i loved it but the retexture had some flaws, a very pale skin making the eyebrows barely visible and HUGE wrinkles  making it look bad with some mesh mods, i looked into it my first attempt was....well....

were not going to talk about it 😅😅

but with time i learned and i improved and decided to try again a month ago and i can finally share with you a great result with of course the consent of geraltofriverside

WHAT'S NEW ?

- a bit less paler skin tone, still give the albino effect but now we can differenciate eyebrows and skin (WARNING : RESULT MAY VARY DEPENDING OF YOUR LIGHTING + RESHADE COMBO)

- restored the original stubble of wiedzmin face i personally prefered

-less wrinkle making him look more mutant than monster

-bandage on the hand removed after the suggestion of geraltofriverside

-some scars on the body removed as i believed there was too much

-4k texture improved via ai

-new scar shape partially based after some screenshot geraltofriverside shared in the past and that obssessed me for a while :

unfortunately it was impossible to make a 1. 1 recreation with the  information i had but the result is i think quite satisfying

some things worth mentioning:

-the cocatrice scar shape depend of the mesh you use due to it's position, it might look slightly different depending of wich one you use; geraltofriverside like geralt redone mesh you can find for next gen version of that mesh in that link , i personally prefer Gwent Card Night to Remember Geralt Face but you can use any you want i tested a couple and they all work, some new face shape mods may have a retexture included i suggest to maintain wiedzmin remaster above it in your load order no matter what and you should be good

-small warning because of one bug report under one of my previous mods, some mesh mods aren't updated to next gen and can cause issues, the smaller one can cause skin color difference between the head and body, the one with big issues can cause geralt face to be locked into clean shaven + tattoo model no matter the situation, i cannot do anything for that bug and i am not responsible for it you should report it in the modpage of the mesh you use, i tested every texture work on my end
