Description

Smart AutoLoot Remaster is an automated looting mod designed specifically for the latest The Witcher 3 Remastered (Patch 5. 00+ / September 2026 update).

It allows you to automatically gather loot from nearby herbs, fallen monsters, chests, and containers without having to manually open each loot window.

This mod was created and tested during regular gameplay, but it has NOT been tested across the entire game. Because The Witcher 3 is a massive RPG with hundreds of unique quests, scripts, and edge cases, bugs or unforeseen interactions may occur. If you run into any issues, please report them in the Bugs tab with details on where and how they happened so they can be addressed.

Looting Modes Explained

You can choose how you want the mod to operate in Options -> Mods -> AutoLoot:

• []Mode 0: Area Radius + On Interaction (Both / Full):

  Continuous passive vacuum in the background (scans the area at your chosen interval) PLUS an instant AoE sweep whenever you press the interaction key on a container or herb.[/]

  []Mode 1: Passive Area Radius Only:

  Continuous background vacuum only. As Geralt walks around, items within radius are gathered automatically without pressing any buttons.[/]

  []Mode 2: Single Target on Interaction (Instant Loot):

  Passive background scan is disabled (Geralt will not auto-vacuum the world). Pressing interact on a container or herb loots only that specific object instantly, skipping the vanilla popup loot window.[/]

  []Mode 3: Area (AoE) on Interaction (On Demand):

  Passive background scan is disabled. You stay in complete control of when looting happens. Approaching any container, herb, or fallen monster and pressing interact will instantly sweep and loot all valid items in your entire configured radius (up to 40m) at once. Perfect for cleaning up after a fight or clearing out a room with a single button press![/]

Main features

• []Configurable Area Radius: Set looting distance anywhere from 3 to 40 meters (default 12m).[/]

  []Configurable Scan Interval: Choose scan frequency (0. 3s, 0. 5s, 1. 0s, 1. 5s, 2. 0s).[/]

  []Guard & Witness Avoidance (Theft Protection):

  [] Checks Line of Sight (raycasting) and 100° field of view on nearby guards and civilians.

  []Skips looting stolen containers if a guard is looking or if an alerted civilian can call guards nearby.

  []4 configurable theft modes: Smart Safe (default), Never Steal, Strict, or Always Steal.

[]Quest & Story Protection:

•    [] Automatically skips quest containers, investigative clues (red Witcher Senses clues), and story-scripted containers to avoid disrupting quest progression.

  []Interacting manually with quest containers still opens the normal story loot window so dialogues and cutscenes trigger properly.

[]Graphical HUD Item Feed:

•    [] Displays animated cards showing item icons, names, and quantities (e.g. + Swallow x2).

  []Selectable position: Bottom-Right Corner (above control prompts) or Bottom-Left Corner (above potions).

  []Designed to never overlap with other HUD elements. Text-only and silent/disabled modes are also available.
