WHAT IS LEVELING GEAR?

Leveling Gear dynamically upgrades and downgrades the level and stats (damage, armor ratings, and attributes) of your weapons and armor according to your character's current level.

Whether your favorite gear is under-leveled and falling behind in stats, or over-leveled so you cannot equip it yet, Leveling Gear ensures your entire arsenal remains relevant, balanced, and immediately wearable throughout your journey. It puts an end to gear obsolescence while giving you complete, lore-friendly control over how equipment progression feels.

    []Secondary Stat Normalization: ON — Dynamically downscales secondary stats (critical hit, sign intensity, resistances) on early gear to preserve game balance, smoothly restoring them back to 100% as you level up.[/]

    []Crossbow & Bolt Scaling: ON — Crossbows dynamically scale attack power multiplier per level, and high-level bolts automatically downscale their level requirement for instant equipping.[/]

    []Loot & Chest Scaling: ON — Newly found weapons and armor in chests and enemy drops are automatically tuned (both upgraded and downscaled) to match your character level.[/]

    []Over-leveled Downscaling: ON — High-level gear is adjusted to your level so you can equip it immediately.[/]

    []Exclude Aerondight: ON — Preserves Aerondight's native Blood & Wine charge-leveling mechanic without interference.[/]
