God Mode - Play How You Want To - REMASTERED Update with new features

This is REMASTERED version update I made for God Mode mod.

UPDATE 2026: Currently, the only supported version of the mod is the extended version with many new options (formerly BETA) - due to the lack of controls that the "Stable" version has (it is still available in OLD files).

Using it with different game version will NOT work!

Using it with other mod(s) made for different game version MAY cause errors or the game will not start at all! This is not GM bug.

If you don't see "MODS" in game menu (or GOD MODE menu in MODS) check if you moved or copied the "bin" folder from the mod folder to the game root folder.

ABOUT

• []What started out as a simple goal of keeping my focus at 3 at all times, has

  evolved quite a bit. This mod allows you to customize how you want to

  play the game, and which annoyances (like dying) you don't want. From

  first time Witchers to the die hard fans (even hardcore players can use

  it to REDUCE the damage they deal), there is something in this for

  everyone. Everything is customizable; all settings are controlled by an

  in-game menu. NOTHING is permanent; every setting can be turned on and

  off with no repercussions to your save file.[/]

INSTALLING THE MOD

• []Uninstall the old mod (if installed) by deleting the modGodMode folder[/]

  []Download and extract the archive manually (don't use Vortex) to your "mods" folder (create it if doesn't exist)[/]

  []Open the folder you just extracted, and look for the "bin" folder[/]

  []Copy or move "bin" folder to the root of your Witcher directory[/]

  []Add new line "modGodModeGUI.xml;" to the files "dx11filelist.txt" and "dx12filelist.txt" in

  <game root folder>\bin\config\r4game\user_config_matrix\pc\ or use this mod Menu Filelist Updater  No longer needed for REMASTERED[/]
