Enhanced Winter's Blade

1. Foreword:

In older versions of The Witcher 3, I had an issue with the sword Winter's Blade. It was pretty bad which didn't fit the story that surrounded it at all.

I was pleasantly surprised to realize that the Gen Edition fixed that. This is why I never bothered updating my mod Who wants to taste Skellige Steel?.

But since I already made a unique new appearance and effect for the sword I decided to release a small standalone mod that brings an upgraded version of Winter's Blade into the Next Gen Edition as well.

2. What this mod does:

Winter's Blade can now be upgraded to Enhanced Winter's Blade. This changes its appearance and results in a slight stat boost as well as a new passive effect.

In order to upgrade the weapon Geralt has to gather rare materials.

    4. How to install / uninstall:

    Unpack enhanced_winters_blade.rar and copy everything inside into your Witcher 3 main directory.

    IMPORTANT: Please run Script Merger to resolve possible conflicts.

    To uninstall, just delete the dlc__enhanced_winters_blade folder in your DLC folder and the  modEnhancedWintersBlade folder in your mods folder.

    5. Debug Console Commands:

    If you have enabled the debug console you can add items directly into your inventory by opening it and typing: additem("itemID")

    for example: additem("Enhanced winters blade")
