Dawn over Kovir (New Questline for Ciri as a witcheress)

Dawn over Kovir is a fan-made questline expansion for The Witcher 3, focused on Ciri after the events of the main game. While hunting monsters, the witcheress increasingly finds monsters not in forests, but among people. Disappointed in humanity, she balances between compassion and rage. Will Ciri be able to control her anger — or will she become a monster herself?

This mod adds a new questline for Ciri and a new region — Kovir and Poviss. Version 0. 9. 1 is currently available. Version 2. 0 is now in development and is planned as a major expansion of the mod — with a new Geralt storyline, an expanded Kovir and Poviss location, improved quest design, localization, voice-over, and other significant enhancements.

The mod was created long before the release of The Witcher IV, so its storylines may either partly match or significantly differ from the official new game about Ciri. Inspired by The Witcher 4's Cinematic Reveal Trailer.

    Installation

    • []The mod replaces Ciri’s eyes with witcher eyes, including in the original game. Because of this, it is recommended to install Dawn over Kovir after finishing the main story of The Witcher 3.[/]

      []Make sure you have the Next-Gen version of The Witcher 3 (v. 4. 0. 4), as well as both expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.[/]

      []Install the latest versions of Custom Player Characters mod and Community Patch. Copy mod... folders to The Witcher 3/Mods, and dlc... folders to The Witcher 3/dlc.[/]

      []Install Dawn over Kovir via The Witcher 3 Mod Manager or manually: copy the moddawnoverkovir folder to The Witcher 3/Mods, and the dlc_kovir folder to The Witcher 3/dlc.[/]

      Updating from 0. 9 to 0. 9. 1: before installing the new version, it is recommended to delete the old moddawnoverkovir
