Better Shop Sale Prices

Increases the ratio of Orens received for selling items to shops. The ratio change is from the vanilla 1:25 to about 1:5. Meant to be used when playing difficulty Dark or above, but the mod will work on any difficulty. I made this mod so that I did not have to farm Nekkers and arm-wrestle plebs in bars just to be able to afford the materials for the chapter outfits (i.e. Blasphemer's Outfit).

To install simply place base_scripts.dzip similarly to:  C:\Steam\steamapps\common\the witcher 2\CookedPC\base_scripts.dzip,. MAKE SURE that you extract the file that you download here (*.zip) to get the file inside (base_scripts.dzip) because the site only allows upload of .zip files and not .dzip files I had to zip up the mod.

I recommend you to backup your old base_scripts.dzip in case there are any problems. For example if the developers update the base_scripts.dzip file and then you replace it with the modded one from here there may the problems as the mod is out of date and some code in the game might no longer match. I have uploaded this mod on November 7, 2017, so if you are far from this date in the future be wary of this. If the mod ever gets outdated and doesn't work just let me know.

Q: Can I use this alongside other mods?

A: If you are already using a base_scripts mod, you can have both this one and yours, but you have to use a tool to accomplish this... Its not that simple because the base_scripts here will overwrite the one you already have.

For this mod I modified the file under: base_scripts\game\gui\guiutils.ws

You can download Gibbed RED Tools (its somewhere around the Witcher 2 Nexus if i remember) and use it to unpack the mod you are currently using (your base_scripts). Then unpack my mod, grab the guiutils.ws file from it and replace it in your mod (your extraction). Then repack your extraction with the GRT, you can then use the resulting file which will contain both your mods and my mod since you replaced that file.
