Unique Swords (Lore-Accurate)

Description

This mod replaces the game's swords with their more recent versions. The idea is to preserve the internal logic of these swords while giving them their updated appearance, based on whether they reappeared in The Witcher 2 or The Witcher 3.

• []The main file does not include the Dol Blathanna sword, as the one shown here is named "Dol Blathanna rune sword" whereas the version seen in The Witcher 3 is called the "Superior Dol Blathanna Sword"; consequently, I consider them to be completely different swords. Nevertheless, anyone wishing to use this model can find it as an optional file.[/]

  []In the main file, the "Sword of the Order"  is the one that features the visible model change in The Witcher 3, while the "Holy sword of the Order" retains its base model. There is an optional file for those who prefer the reverse. The Holy Sword changes its model, while the "Sword of the Order" keeps the base model.[/]

  []I decided not to upload a file for Aerondight, since there are already several very comprehensive mods for this sword.[/]

  Installation instructions

  Place it in the “Data” folder, not in Override.

  Order_Holy (W3)

  • []If you want the "Holy sword of the Order" to use the The Witcher 3 model instead of the "Sword of the Order", first install the main file, then delete the "order" folder located inside the "steel" folder. Download and install the "Holy_Sword (W3)" optional file, which will add a new "order" folder and the "order_holy" folder (do not simply overwrite the existing files).[/]

    []If, in addition to this change, you are using the Rise of the White Wolf mod, complete the previous step first. Download and install the optional ROTWW file. This will replace the icons for the other swords and add the icon "iit_stlswd_007" to the "order" folder. Rename this icon to "iit_stlswd_009" and replace the one located in the "order_holy" folder.[/]

    Descripción

    Este mod reemplaza las espadas del juego con sus versiones más recientes. La idea es mantener la ligoca interna de estas espadas, dandoles su apariencia mas actualizada dependiendo de si reaparecieron en The Witcher 2 o The Witcher 3.

    NOTA: Los modelos pertenecen al mod "The Witcher Remastered Project" de "hub997". El credito es para él. Lo que yo hice fue reorganizar y crear iconos para cada espada.

    • []El archivo principal no incluye la espada dolblathana puesto que la espada que vemos aquí lleva de nombre "Espada Rúnica de Dol blathana" mientras que la vista en The Witcher 3 se llama "Espada Superior de Dol blathana", por ende las considero espadas completamente distinas. Aun así en caso de que alguien quiera utilizar este modelo, lo puede encontrar como archivo opcional.[/]

      []En el archivo principal, la "Espada de la Orden" es la que tiene el cambio de modelo a la vista en The Witcher 3, mientras que la "Espada Sagrada de la Orden" se mantiene en su modelo base. Hay un archivo opcional para quien lo prefiera al reves, siendo la "Espada Sagrada" la que cambiara su modelo, mientras que la "Espada de la Orden" se mantendra en el modelo base.[/]

      Instrucciones de instalación

      Colócalo en la carpeta "Data", no en Override.

      Order_Holy

      []Si deseas que sea la "Espada Sagrada de la Orden" la que lleve el modelo de The Witcher 3 en lugar de la "Espada de la Orden". Primero instala el archivo principal, luego elimina la carpeta "order" que esta dentro de la carpeta "steel". Descarga e instala el archivo opcional de "Holy_Sword (W3)" el cual añadirá una nueva carpeta "order" y la carpeta "order_holy". (no solo sobreescribir los archivos).[/]

      []Si además de este cambio, juegas con el mod Rise of the White Wolf, primero realiza el paso anterior. Descarga e instala el archivo opcional ROTWW. Esto reemplazará los iconos de las demas espadas y dentro de la carpeta "order" se añadirá el icono "iit_stlswd_007". Cambia el nombre de este icono a "iit_stlswd_009" y reemplaza el que se encuentra dentro de la carpeta "order_holy".[/]
