One to One Smelting

I thought using 3 or 4 ores to just to get 1 ingot was a bit much, especially on our dedicated server with several peeps playing. This mod changes selected Windrose smelting and ingot recipes so they use a one-to-one input/output style.

Instead of recipes needing multiple raw materials for one ingot, each included recipe now costs 1 of each listed ingredient and returns 1 ingot.

Doesn't break immersion really without dying over the grind.

  6/10/26 - I added the normal mod plus fast smelting and outputs of x1, x2, x3, x5 and x10. Basically, makes the smelting speed almost instant and the x1, x2, x3, x5, x10 is output multiplier. For those with no patience =)

6/12/26 - I added coal to the speed and quantity variations. Does not impact ash since it is used less and you would likely drown in it.

Works on single player and dedicated servers. Must be installed in the ~mods folder on both if playing on a dedicated.

1 copper ore + 1 coal -> 1 copper ingot

1 iron ore + 1 coal -> 1 iron ingot

1 gold nugget + 1 coal -> 1 gold ingot

1 gold ingot + 1 copper ingot + 1 coal -> 1 tumbago ingot
