On the 7th May, 1945 Ofw. Franz Gapp. took off at Prague-Ruzyne, Czechoslovakia and flew westwards to escape from Soviet captivity. He belly landed this Me 262 in a plowed field near Podersam (Saaz) and destroyed his aircraft.
