Officer Tweaks

Tired of your Officer feeling like a overly passive buff bot who's mostly only good for handing out extra turns? Do you think most of the officer abilities aren't all that great? This mod is for you!

The changes introduced in this mod are intended to make Officers still feel like force multipliers for the team but it will also allow them to play more aggressively if the player chooses to.

All of the officer abilities besides Voice of Command can target the Officer themselves and gain the following additions:

Break Their Ranks

Melee attacks cost -1 AP (minimum 1) and the target can make an additional attack if they have Voice of Command while under this condition.

The target also gains (Willpower/5)% parry reduction and (25 + Willpower Bonus x 2) damage.

Air Of Authority

The bonus resolve is now 2 + Resolve, up from 2 + Resolve/3

All damage is increased by (15 + Willpower/4)% and critical chance increased by the officer's resolve until the end of combat.

Next ranged attack will have -50% recoil(only works for first attack in burst), gain an additional (5 + Fellowship Bonus)% hit chance and a bonus (15 + Willpower Bonus)% armor penetration.

Get Back In The Fight

If the target is under voice of command, they will also gain (Willpower/3)% armor and (1 + Fellowship Bonus/3) bonus deflection.

Bring It Down

If the Officer targets themselves, they will be able to perform an extra attack with a -1 AP bonus.

Finest Hour (Heroic)

Can now target the Officer but doesn't result in an extra turn nor does it refresh abilities that have already been used by the Officer this turn.

Move, Move, Move

No changes besides being able to target the Officer.

I've also updated the following talents:

Decisive Response Removed as of 1. 3. 0

The effect now lasts indefinitely. This is so that the Officer doesn't feel too AP starved.

Lead By Example

The Stand Witness effect is now granted after every cast of a non-turn granting Officer ability.

Steady! (Talent)

5% flat  and 1% per tile damage bonus ---> 30% flat and 2% per tile damage bonus

Leader's Assault

+5 Fellowship per attack ---> +5 Fellowship, +5 Willpower, and +3% critical damage per attack.

Seize the Initiative

Grants +(10 + Fellowship bonus) Initiative. Damage bonus against enemies who haven't acted increased to 30 + (Willpower bonus + Fellowship bonus).

For the first round, it will also grant the officer +1 AP and +4 MP.

Watch Yourself

Cover efficiency and dodge bonus increased from +10% ---> +15%

Installation:

If you're experiencing issues, try downloading MicroPatches.

The easiest way to install it may be to use Modfinder. I've never used it though so I'm not sure it will appear; will work to make sure it's included in future updates if it isn't already.

Manual Install

Extract the zip file into your Game's Modifications folder. The path will be similar to C:\Users\<User Name Here>\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\Modifications

Once extracted, add the file into your OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json file. This is one level up from the mod's folder. Assuming you have no other mods, it should like this:

Once you have updated this file, start your game and you should see the mod in the in-game mod tool.
