Better Escort Ships

Let's be honest, the escort ships from the Dargonus colony projects are a bit trash. This mod gives them some modest improvements to give them a role in the game, but not enough to trivialize or overshadow space battles.

The upgrades to both include adding a basic armor module and improving their shields by a step. The frigate receives a second pair of macrocannons and the destroyer swaps its torpedo launchers for the dual dorsal cannon of the pirate version of the ship.

And just for kicks I removed mutual exclusion - you can have both if you want.

Installation:

The easiest way to install it would be to use Modfinder.

If not using ModFinder, you will need to unzip the folder into your Game's Modifications folder. The path will be similar to C:\Users\Me\AppData\LocalLow\Owlcat Games\Warhammer 40000 Rogue Trader\Modifications

Once the folder is there, you may need to edit your OwlcatModificationManagerSettings.json file. This is one level up from the mod's folder. It needs to look something like:

You will need to add the two entries for jhBetterWingmen following the format above. Once this file is edited you can start your game and you should see the mod in the in-game mod tool (not the built in Unity Mod Manager)
