What Loadout shows each operative's melee and ranged weapons, weapon stats, blessings, perks, signature talents, and curio bonuses in the lobby and on the mission end screen. In the Mourningstar, the full cards can be toggled for the current party. During missions, a compact weapon card is available while holding the Tactical Overlay.

The mod also includes an optional local build library. You can save builds from players currently visible to your client, inspect them later, preview their talent trees, add notes, and import a compatible main talent tree onto one of your own operatives.

  No other mod is required.

  Do not enable What Loadout and Loadout Monitor together. Both draw loadout information in the same HUD and lobby areas, so their displays overlap.

  The Scoreboard mod and What Stats are optional and supported on the end screen. With Scoreboard, What Loadout adds its cards to the shared end-screen cycle. With What Stats, the stats board owns that surface and shows the loadout dossier as a hover popup, so the separate full-card end-screen view is not added. What Loadout's lobby, Mourningstar, and in-mission cards remain available.

  When both mods are installed, What Stats can capture the lobby dossier during a mission. Its run-history board then shows that dossier when you move the mouse over a player name, even if the player never enters the Mourningstar. If True Level is enabled, the captured prestige level and Havoc rank are shown beside the name when available, using the icons configured in True Level.

  Click a player name on the What Stats board once for save information, then again within five seconds to save that player's complete captured build to this library. This works on the mission end screen and in the Mourningstar. Lobby, mission-end, and F9 party cards use the same two-click action. Identical builds are deduplicated, while different loadouts belonging to the same character name remain separate.

  Installation

  Install the Darktide Mod Loader and Darktide Mod Framework first.

  • []Extract the downloaded archive into your Darktide mods directory.

    []Check that the resulting folder structure is:

    what_loadout.mod

    scripts/[]Open mods/mod_load_order.txt and add what_loadout on its own line.

    []Start Darktide. The mod appears as What Loadout in Mod Options.

    Darktide game updates normally disable the mod loader. If mods stop loading after a game update, exit the game and run toggle_darktide_mods.bat again from the Darktide installation directory.

    Updating

    • []Exit Darktide.

      []Delete the old mods/what_loadout directory.

      []Extract the new version into mods.

      []Keep the existing what_loadout line in mod_load_order.txt.

      Deleting the mod directory does not remove DMF settings or the saved-build library, which are stored elsewhere.

      Basic Usage

      Lobby

      The lobby dossier is shown automatically by default. Each operative can display:

      • []melee and ranged weapon names and ratings;

        []weapon stat values;

        []blessings and their tiers;

        []perks and their rolled values;

        []Blitz, Aura, Ability, and Keystone;

        []all three curios and their bonuses;

        []a combined row showing the contribution of the three curios.

        The curio sum is the contribution from curios only. It is not the character's final Health, Toughness, resistance, or other total because talents may modify the same values.

        Weapon perks such as vs Carapace describe damage dealt to that enemy type. Enemy-specific curio resistance bonuses describe reduced damage taken from that enemy type.

        Weapon names stay on one line and shrink to fit. Blessings show their rank; perks show their value and rank color. The four signature talents use a compact 2×2 layout. Hover a blessing or talent to read its full description.
