UA Font Patch is a lightweight compatibility add-on for Ukrainian and other Cyrillic localizations of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

By default, Darktide’s English font profile does not include Cyrillic glyphs — even though the game’s Russian fonts do.

This small patch simply makes the English locale use the same font definitions as the Russian one, enabling full Cyrillic rendering while keeping the rest of the interface untouched.

🔹 Features:

• Allows Ukrainian localization to display proper Cyrillic text when the game language is set to English.

• Does not affect Russian or other locales.

• Tiny and safe — no textures, assets, or files are replaced.

• Fully compatible with the official Mod Framework and other localization mods.

🧩 How to use:

• []Install this mod together with your Ukrainian Localization.

  []Enable both in the Mod Framework.

  []Set the game language to English (if desired).

  []Enjoy correctly rendered Cyrillic text instead of transliteration.

💡 If you switch the game to Russian, the patch does nothing — Darktide already uses Cyrillic fonts there.

📁 Safe to remove at any time: removing the patch simply reverts English fonts to their default Latin-only version.

UA Font Patch — це невеликий допоміжний мод для української (та інших кириличних) локалізацій Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

У стандартній англійській версії Darktide шрифти не містять кириличних символів, хоча в російській збірці вони є.

Цей патч просто змушує англійську локаль використовувати ті самі шрифтові визначення, що й російська, забезпечуючи повну підтримку кирилиці, не змінюючи інтерфейс гри.

• Дозволяє українській локалізації коректно відображати кирилицю, навіть якщо мова гри встановлена на англійську.

• Не впливає на інші локалі (зокрема російську).

• Дуже легкий і безпечний — не замінює жодних текстур чи файлів гри.

• Повністю сумісний із Mod Framework і будь-якими іншими модами локалізації.

💡 Якщо гра запущена з російською локаллю, патч нічого не змінює — у ній кирилиця вже підтримується.

📁 Безпечно видаляти у будь-який момент — після видалення шрифти англійської версії просто повертаються до стандартної латиниці.
