📋 About This Mod

Requires SoloPlay and also supports Realms sessions. Set separate 30–99 talent-point budgets for players and bots, save character builds and optionally auto-assign bot points. Independent of Mortis Trials Buff Manager.

English

Talent Point Manager

Design custom talent builds for SoloPlay and Realms. Set a 30–99 point budget for your character, configure bots separately, and allow multiple auras, keystones and compatible upgrades. In Realms, the host assigns rules to each player.

How to use

Enable custom talents in Mod Options → Talent Point Manager. Type /talentpoints in chat to open this mod’s talent editor; no key binding is required. You can also assign an optional shortcut in this mod’s DMF settings.

The I-key talent tree is the original editor. Use the custom editor for extended points and multi-select options, and close the original inventory before opening it. Switching away from or closing the custom Talents page saves your build.

This mod extends only the Talents page. Equipment and Cosmetics retain their native behavior unless an enabled extension replaces them. Disabling custom talents restores the native talent editor.

The workspace uses the native inventory tab bar, with mouse and controller navigation and widths that adapt to narrower screen ratios.

Each equipment preset has its own custom talent tree. The custom tree uses the existing inventory window and its original preset controls. Select a preset there to change equipment and talents together; the tree refreshes in place. Add, copy and remove presets through the existing controls. Saved custom builds and host restrictions are retained.

Press the native reset key (E by default) or click Reset all at the bottom right, then confirm to clear the current preset's custom talents. Cancel leaves the build unchanged.

Talent selection

  • []Separate switches allow multiple auras and multiple keystones/compatible upgrades. Talents still cost points and follow prerequisites and investment requirements.[/]

[]Selected effects use original game Buff templates and network identifiers. Identical auras follow native stacking rules.[/]

[]Main combat abilities, Blitz choices and upgrades requiring conflicting assets or actions remain mutually exclusive. This includes Psyker extra shield charges versus the dome, and Skitarii horizontal sweep versus quick stabs.[/]

[]The native character summary has one aura slot; it does not list every active aura effect.[/]

Compatible combinations include Veteran enemy outlines, Zealot prayer upgrades, Psyker shout/stance effects, Ogryn charge/taunt/ranged upgrades and Arbites companion preferences. Selecting both Psyker Disrupt Destiny upgrades provides 25 stacks for 10 seconds. Selecting the Arbites companion-removal talent together with a dog-dependent talent retains one dog and supported native bonuses; selecting companion removal alone removes the dog.

    Realms host controls

Enable custom talents in Mod Options and create a Realms room. A host-only control row appears below each player in the preparation list, including the host and rooms with no guests.

    • []Set each player's budget from 30–99 and choose single or multiple auras and keystones separately.[/]

[]Click a budget to type or paste. Enter or clicking elsewhere confirms; Esc cancels. The minus/plus buttons repeat after a 400 ms hold.[/]

[]Guests edit their own talent tree and see the assigned limits, permitted choices and synchronization status. Guest settings cannot override host rules.[/]

[]Reducing limits projects a legal build on the host. Live effects follow native profile/resource synchronization, while original saved builds remain available.[/]

[]Each player has a deployment status, including connecting, ready, waiting for character data, disabled, missing/incompatible or disconnected.[/]

Rules belong to the current room and player. Leaving clears that player's override; loading a mission in the same room retains assignments. A new room uses its own rules.

      Solo settings and saved builds

Without Realms, configure the mod through DMF. Solo settings also provide initial room defaults. Bot customization has its own switch and can automatically spend extra points.

The main feature defaults off and the default budget is 30. Multi-select switches default off. Original local builds and guest builds use separate storage. Disabling the mod removes its extra controls while preserving saved custom builds.

      Requirements

Requires Darktide Mod Loader, Darktide Mod Framework and SoloPlay. Realms is optional for player-hosted multiplayer. English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese follow the game langu
