ServeMeSkull - Skitarii

Description

The Omnissiah gave you three Servo-Skull functions and apparently expected you to operate them through one button like some kind of unaugmented primitive.

ServeMeSkull corrects this administrative failure.

The mod adds separate, configurable keybindings for:

• []The Medicae Servo-Skull[/]

  []The Rotating Purgator Servo-Skull[/]

  []The Directional Purgator Servo-Skull[/]

Each skull can be deployed automatically using your preferred input method: 

• [] instant activation (on keypress), [/]

  []a short configurable delay, [/]

  []on key release (Added in V1. 1. 0). Can be canceled by clicking the right mouse button (RMB),[/]

  [] or a deliberate double-tap. [/]

No more opening the ability, cycling through skulls, checking the flame pattern, accidentally selecting the wrong one, and watching your carefully planned rescue turn into an enthusiastic cremation.

Press the Medicae key and send emergency medical assistance toward whichever unfortunate servant of the Imperium has fallen over. Press either Purgator key to deploy the correct flame pattern without manually switching between rotating and directional modes.

A compact HUD shows your remaining charges, the currently available skull, all three functions, and their assigned keys.

ServeMeSkull also includes safeguards for cancelled, interrupted, or rejected deployments. If Darktide refuses an input because you are out of charges, being mauled by a Mutant, performing another action, or simply suffering the Emperor’s traditional user-interface latency, the controller automatically recovers instead of permanently ignoring your keys. 

The mod does not create additional charges, shorten cooldowns, improve targeting, or make the Servo-Skull any smarter. It merely lets you issue the correct order quickly and leaves the skull to carry it out with the usual level of sanctioned mechanical competence.

Less cycling. Less fumbling. More timely medicine and precisely directed cleansing fire.

Installation instructions
