Extra Keybindings

Description

Extra Keybindings adds a dedicated keybinding page for selected core actions in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

It allows extra native binds with reliable keyboard and mouse support, including key combinations, while keeping behavior close to standard in-game keybindings.

It also includes:

- DEL-to-unassign support in default (vanilla) keybindings.

- Correct ESC cancel behavior in Extra Keybindings (cancel no longer clears an existing bind).

Included actions

- Combat and interaction: Primary Action, Secondary Action, Weapon Special Action, Interact, Inspect Operative, Reload Weapon, Activate Blitz, Activate Ability, Tag, Open Com Wheel, Open Tactical Overlay, Tactical Overlay Swap, Inspect Weapon, Spectate Next Player, Push to Talk

- Weapon switching: Wield Primary Weapon, Wield Secondary Weapon, Wield Large Item, Wield Small Item, Wield Auspex, Swap Weapon, Wield Previous Item, Wield Next Item

- Interface and hotkeys: View Wargear, Show Chat

- Movement: Move Forward, Move Backward, Move Left, Move Right, Dodge, Jump, Crouch, Sprint

Customization

- Configure all listed binds in Mod Options -> Extra Keybindings.

- Supports keyboard keys, mouse buttons, and modifier combos.

- No manual DMF core file replacement required.

DMF mouse binding fix

- Includes a runtime fix for DMF mouse key conversion issues.

- Prevents broken bindings like LEFT_ARROW + LEFT_DOUBLE in affected setups.

- The patch is applied while the mod is enabled and safely restored on disable/unload.

Installation

1. Extract the extra_keybindings folder into your Darktide mods directory.

2. Add extra_keybindings to mod_load_order.txt.

3. Launch the game and open Mod Options (F4 by default).

4. Set your preferred binds in the Extra Keybindings page.
