Easy Server Switcher - Unemployment Tide

Description

Chasing a populated matchmaking region in Darktide normally means:

open settings  ->  change server  ->  back out  ->  re-queue ->  get kicked from the menu ->  wait ->

open settings again -> repeat ->.

Every single time. 

Even worse when you're playing during low-traffic hours.

Easy Server Switcher puts that whole loop onto the mission board itself.

Basically adds a small server switcher right next to PLAY.

Switch regions with the « / » arrows, or click the center label to drop a scrollable list of every region.

If you're already sitting in a queue when you switch, it cancels and instantly re-queue.

Installation instructions

1. Make sure the Darktide Mod Loader and Darktide Mod Framework (DMF) are installed (you already have these if you run any other mods).

2. Vortex: install the zip through Vortex

Manual: extract the zip into your Darktide folder so you end up with:

<game>/mods/easy_server_switcher/easy_server_changer.mod

<game>/mods/easy_server_switcher/scripts/1mods/easy_server_switcher/...

2. Then add a line easy_server_switcher to <game>/mods/mod_load_order.txt, below dmf.

3. Launch with mods enabled.

Main features

- « / » stepper above the PLAY button.

- Clickable region label, scrollable dropdown list opens below, stays inside the screen, and scrolls if it's tall.

- Auto re-queue on the region change.

- Keep board open even after pressing PLAY.

- Optional hotkeys for next/previous region.

- Also Implemented in Havoc menu

- "REM" button beside the stepper "«" to remember the last selected server even after relogging.
