Darktide CLI

Darktide CLI is a command-line tool for AI agents working with Darktide modding development. It lets an agent run Lua code in the current game session and read realtime logs, so runtime checks can be done from outside the game without opening the developer console.

Installation

• []Install the LuaExec mod from the FILES tab, the dt-cli binary is in the bin folder[/]

  []Install the darktide-dt-cli skill if you would like to[/]

  []Make sure Darktide is running and LuaExec is loaded[/]

  []Ask your AI agents to run some Lua code[/]

• []List Darktide processes available to dt-cli with dt-cli ps[/]

  []Execute Lua code in a running Darktide process with dt-cli [-p PID] exec <lua code>[/]

  []Print logs from a running Darktide process with dt-cli [-p PID] logs [-n lines] [-f][/]

Darktide CLI can execute code inside your running Darktide Lua environment. Only use it with trusted agents, scripts, and prompts.

Do not expose it to untrusted users, remote input, or unattended automation. Incorrect or malicious Lua code may affect the current game session or loaded mods.

This tool is intended for local mod development, debugging, and AI-assisted inspection.
