Note on Color Correction and Tuning:

Color correction can vary significantly with displays. On my setup, this preset results in:

• []A dehaze effect and clarity that seamlessly blends into Darktide's scenery

  []Deeper blacks

  []Brighter colors

Adjust to Your Liking: If this is not the case for you, feel free to:

• []Tune the color effects to suit your preferences

  []Or turn them off completely

Sharpening Options:For sharpening, LumaSharpen is extremly lightweight and in charge of the heavy lifting,

For Fine-Tuning Color with Maximum Performance:

To fine-tune your colors more precisely,

adjusting the RGB lift in LiftGammaGain.fx will raise shadow brightness for each color band

keeping close to equal values for each is recommended.

It’s a bit more tedious so you can use your in game brightness settings or toggle this off.

About This Preset:

DT HIFI brings greater clarity and texture quailty to Darktide in a highly efficient way.

• Results may vary depending on your in-game settings or monitor setup. For reference, here are mine:

  []In-game brightness: 0. 23

  []Intel Xess 1. 3. 1 Quality

  Global illumination - High[]Volumetric Fog High

  []Screen space reflection -medium

  []Ambient Occlustion -low

  []Camera lens distortion -off

  []Optional: RT low, RT reflections off

Brightness Adjustments:

• []To adjust shadow brightness, tweak the Black Point in Levels.fx.

  This has the most noticeable impact on gameplay, in my opinion.

  []For my setup, 10 is the sweet spot, but this can vary greatly between monitors, so experiment to find what works best for you.
