Communication Command Wheel

Communication Command Wheel adds a radial wheel for fast squad communication in missions: lines go to mission chat, and where the game supports it, your operative can play a short voice line (VO).

The default phrases and scope of the mod were discussed with players on Reddit (thread).

• []Radial wheel with up to 8 sectors per page and up to 3 pages — empty slots are not shown as commands.[/]

  []Customizable commands: pick a phrase from a list for each slot in the mod settings (or leave a slot empty).[/]

  []Page switching on a dedicated hotkey; optionally mouse wheel and center click (if enabled in settings); when the wheel uses the wheel for paging, weapon switching via scroll can be blocked while the wheel is open.[/]

  []Open delay: how long you must hold the key before the wheel appears.[/]

  []Reset layout to the built-in default slot assignment (separate option in settings).[/]

  Usage

  Keyboard & Mouse:

  • []Hold the key bound in the mod settings until the wheel appears (respecting the delay if you use one).[/]

    []Move the cursor to the sector you want (or change pages with the page hotkey / scroll / center — if those options are on).[/]

    []Release the open key or confirm the choice as usual for your setup — the command is sent to chat and VO plays when available.[/]

    Who it’s for

    Players who want faster tactical and quick-callouts to the squad in a mission without typing in chat.

    • []Draw order: The radial menu is drawn above the standard HUD so UI elements don’t cover it.[/]

      []Daemonhost: The “Attention, Daemonhost here!” command places a location_threat smart tag.[/]

      []Pointing at items / locations: “Take this” and “I need this” place a location_attention smart tag.[/]

      []Hold position: “Hold this position” places a location_ping smart tag.[/]

      []Auto-announce on crate deployment: Two separate settings were added; when enabled, deploying medical and ammo crates automatically sends a mission chat message and places a location_ping at the deployment point.[/]
