Manual Saving

This mod enables manual saving with the press of various hotkeys. This is intended for use in an open-world environment or missions.

DO NOT SAVE IN CUTSCENES, INTERACTIVE DIALOGUES, NIKO'S MISSION, OR BOSS FIGHTS.

This mod is still a work-in-progress and, thus, I haven't been able to test every scenario, just the main ones.

Please let me know if you notice any significant issues or have suggestions.

How the mod works

This mod enables multiple hotkeys.

F5 - Quicksave

F9 - Quickload

Numkey 1-9 - Saves Slot 1-9

ALT + Numkey 1-9 - Loads Slot 1-9

ALT + Numkey 0 - Teleports you to a safe spot on the map (attempt to solve potential positioning issues)

You must be holding the ALT key to load when using numkeys

I have tested this mod as much as I could, but I cannot guarantee that it will function correctly. The saving system in this game was intended to be used only around checkpoints for a variety of reasons. This mod circumvents that which could lead to potential problems. Use it at your own risk.

Installation (Steam)

First, install UE4SS. Scroll down a little until you see Assets, then open that and you'll see the files. The name changes, but it'll be something like `UE4SS_v3. 0. 1`. Ensure you install one that is similarly named to what I have presented here; do not install the Dev version.

To install, simply extract the zip folder contents inside Steam\steamapps\common\Bloodlines 2\Bloodlines2\Binaries\Win64 and launch the game as usual. Make sure you're extracting the contents of the zip file into Win64

Second, extract THIS mod (the folder, not the files) into the Mods folder found in

Steam\steamapps\common\Bloodlines 2\Bloodlines2\Binaries\Win64\Mods

The directory should look like ManualSaving, and it should be present in the ue4ss Mods folder.
