Bloodlines 2 ReVAMPed - DLSS Photorealism And Reshade

Description

A reshade preset tailored for use with DLSS 5 Contains instructions on how to set up your game to use DLSS 5, as well as the Reshade preset to unblur your textures and some slight color correction!

DLSS 5 obviously is in very early stages and the way we are using it, is post render-injection, so there will always be artifacts and some less good results. Altough, Bloodlines 2 being as blurry as it is, in my opinion it looks good in this game.

Obviously it's not everyone's cup of tea. I think it looks better

Just be aware that this will massively impact your framerate.

I am using an RTX4080 Super and I went from around 80-90 fps to 40-50 fps.

It's playable, but definitely requires sacrificing some FPS.

If you currently aren't getting high frame rates I suggest you either use a more balanced version of DLSS, lower your base resolution, or perhaps don't install this.

Installation instructions

First things first, you're going to need to set up your game to be able to handle DLSS5. There's a few files you will need in order to do so, and I am not going to provide you with them as they are sourced extenally. However I did find this tool:

However I will explain the way I did it, so you don't have to worry.

You're going to need these files:

• [] Go to: https://developer.nvidia.com/rtx/dlss#getstarted and download the latest version of DLSS 5.

  For this one I went with 5. 8 as it was the latest available version.[/]

  []Download the reshade with addon support installer: https://reshade.me/downloads/ReShade_Setup_6. 8. 0_Addon.exe[/]

  []Go to the RenoDX discord https://discord.gg/renodx and download the DLSS310. 8. 0-Streamline2. 13 folder from the dlss5-downloads channel[/]

  []Download the https://github.com/NIGos/dlss5-bridge [/]

Then you need to place the contents in your Bloodlines 2 binaries/Win64 folder where the Exe is located.

This would be something like: D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bloodlines 2\Bloodlines2\Binaries\Win64

Last you place the reshade folder from the downloads section in, to get that sweet sharpening happening accompanied by some color grading. This is customizable, so if you'd like the LUT to be stronger, or the sharpening to be less, you need just to press HOME on your keyboard to bring up the ReShade customization window.

bringing up the ReShade customziation window should also bing up the DLSS customization window.

Important! this method only works if you enable DLSS in the game's graphics settings.

And make sure that the DLSS method is set to DLAA
