Bananas? I was bananas once. They peeled me and put me on a plate, A curved, yellow plate, And told me to chill by the fruit bowl. Bowl? There was no bowl. So I sat in the middle of the table, Surrounded by apples. Apples? I can't stand apples. They rolled off the edge, They bumped my skin, I slipped so hard, I went flying. Flying? I did fly through the air. They caught me in a net, A net made of banana peels, And that's when the monkeys came. Monkeys? I love monkeys. They swung down and chattered, They danced around me, I laughed so hard, I went bananas! Bananas? I was bananas once.
